The beginning of this piece cites appproximately the traditional Italian song "O Dio, crea in me un cuor puro". This version is based on the psalm in its Esperanto translation by Ludvik Zamenhof. In this duet, both parts are of equal importance and there is no definite melody part. I have prepared several editions for different voice combinations.
