A prayer for Pentecost, which Albrecht Kronenberger kindly wrote for this musical setting. Despite the popular musical style, the piece is full of muscial references to the meaning of the text: each section consists of nine bars (three times three, as a reference to the Holy Trinity), permanently falling musical lines at "come, Holy Ghost", or abrupt tonality changes at "storm of God" etc.
